FFROA is a youth development program that takes individuals ages 13 to 18 and trains them in being a First Responder of all kinds.
Applicants start out as Recruits and earn their way to the annual Academy where they receive 2-4 state and federal certifications that will go with them for a lifetime. In addition, Recruits as well as Cadets earn rank based on time and efforts, including community service they put into the program.
FFROA holds a 100% sucess rate whether the Cadet turns 18 and goes into a First Responder Career or they enter into college for a higher education in a first responder career field.

The Future First Responders of America™© (F.F.R.O.A.), is a youth program administered, operated and funded by LEOCode4™©, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

The Youth Development Program is a proprietary, nationwide, and community-based first responder training program that focuses to empower youth up to and even past their 18th birthday.
This program is meant to increase a young person’s potential through wholesome activities that emphasize on Teamwork, Leadership, Becoming a Responsible Citizen, Making Good Choices, Patriotism, and Community Service. It is considered the nation's signature youth program and has proven to be successful across America.
Future First Responders of America (F.F.R.O.A.) is a nationwide non-profit premiere youth organization that teaches youth about being a First Responder of all types.
Our youth thrive because not only are they taught about being a first responder, but they are also given guidance, mentorship, life skills, and vision to transition into their young adult life.
LEOCode4, the parent company of F.F.R.O.A. is the sole funding source of the youth program. Their volunteers work for donations with 100% of the proceeds going F.F.R.O.A. It provides the ability to support the units across the country and provide each and every recruit and Cadet what they need to successfully complete the year-round program.
Our entire focus is on youth. With that, their futures benefit from obtaining skills as well as learning how to be productive citizens of this country. Unit leaders teach integrity, commitment, teamwork, leadership, stewardship, and patriotism in a first responder paramilitary style environment. Youth are provided structure and respect for their hard work.
All potential members apply to become a recruit. Once the application process is approved, the potential member becomes an Official Recruit. Recruits spend time participating in training and community service. Once the probationary period has passed, the recruit is accepted into Academy, Academy is 4 days, and once successfully completed Academy the recruit graduates as a full-fledged Cadet.
Our recruits participate along side graduated Cadets during their probationary period. Recruits often are able to obtain certification depending on the type of training.
All Recruits are provided an official shirt as well as any required equipment.
Recruits probationary period can be from 3 months up to a year depending on the Recruit and how much he/she participates in the programs activities.
A full Cadet participates in all types of first responder related activities. In addition they complete community service.
Cadet earn rank which is calculated by the amount of time they put into their training and community service. The more they participate the higher the rank.
A Cadet graduates as a Private and can go as high as a Lance Corporal.
Adult volunteers whether they are themselves First Responders or not are needed.
All training leadership are active or retired First Responder. However, those who poses a desire to help you in general are provided the opportunity to certify to help train or those that can do back office tasks such as fundraising, chaperons, etc.
Regardless of your status, we need volunteers to help our youth transition into adulthood. Your time is appreciate!!
